Our client needed to appeal more to his historical product line.
We have mixed the historic design of the “citylight” with new solutions in terms of materials and industrial production in order to reduce weight and improve the production aspect without losing sight of the regulatory security aspect.
For a time we have teamed up with Lazzerini’ s technical office, cooperating to integrate solutions and equipment that are already in use with new materials and forms.
We had to design new interior structures in the seat and 3d foam modeling.
After we have also followed the design phase and the execution of new foam molds in order to meet the demand for production coming mainly from emerging countries.
The result is a seat lighter of 20% with the same mechanical characteristics.
